Salisbury University seeks a dynamic, proven, and dedicated leader to serve as the Dean of the College of Health and Human Services.

The Dean of the College of Health and Human Services (College) is the chief executive and academic officer of the College. The Dean will actively support the College’s continuing pursuit of excellence in its educational, professional, outreach, and scholarship missions. The Dean provides leadership to the faculty and staff in all matters relating to curriculum and program development; accreditation, assessment, and evaluation; recruitment and retention of faculty, staff, and students; and research and scholarship. The Dean will actively pursue collaborations with other colleges, corporations, industry partners, federal, state, and local agencies, and other organizations to fulfill its mission. Finally, establishing a strong and supportive alumni base leading to meaningful endowments, scholarship opportunities, and Salisbury capital and core infrastructure gifts is required.

The Dean supervises personnel procedures of the College’s faculty and staff, secures resources, oversees fiscal planning and management, and promotes the College to internal and external audiences which may include healthcare systems, human services agencies, educational organizations, the research and development sector, and State and other governmental offices, among others.
