George joins the Owls from Mississippi State where he served as the Deputy AD/CFO since April of 2020 where he managed all financial aspects of the department as well as provided oversight to the internal operations, capital projects and facilities areas. He also served as the sport administrator for the football program.

He will direct and oversee the Owls' business operations, human resource services, facilities and event operations, sports medicine, and athletic performance units. As the head of athletics operations, George will act as the point of contact between the Director of Athletics and other stakeholders, oversee employment and personnel matters.

George joined Mississippi State after four and a half years at Clemson as the Associate AD/CFO during the Tigers' rise to the top of the college football world.  He began his career at Texas in 2013, where he served as the Assistant Business Manager.

He is a native of College Station, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting) and a Master's degree in Accounting. He was a member of the A&M football team from 2005-2006.
