Enviva, the world’s largest producer of wood pellets, based in Bethesda, Maryland, has named Nicole Holden Assistant Controller.  Enviva was founded in 2004 with a clear purpose in mind: to develop a cleaner energy alternative to fossil fuels – in particular, to offer electric utilities a fuel to replace coal, enabling them to generate power without interruption while reducing their greenhouse gas emissions.

Holden joins Enviva in this newly created Assistant Controller role from The Center for Audit Quality in Washington, DC.  Prior to her time there, she spent several years at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).
