Two Veteran Communications Professionals Join East Lake Initiative

Two veteran Atlanta communications professionals are joining the East Lake Initiative, which includes Purpose Built Communities, the East Lake Foundation, the Drew Charter School and the East Lake Golf Club.

Ethan Davidson, who has served as director of communications and media relations for the Atlanta Beltline since moving to Atlanta in 2008, will serve as vice president of communications for Purpose Built Communities. Catherine Woodling, who served as the media relations officer for Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin and then went on to serve as corporate communications manager for Home Depot, will serve as director of communications for the East Lake Foundation and the East Lake Golf Club. They will be the communications team for the East Lake Initiative.

“Their talent in working with complex public-private partnerships will translate perfectly to the work of Purpose Built Communities and the East Lake Foundation,” said Greg Giornelli, president and chief operating officer of Purpose Built Communities.
