Superintendent of the U.S Air Force Academy Selected to Lead the CFP

MONTGOMERY, AL - After a national search, Auburn University at Montgomery has selected Dr. Derrick Smith to become dean of its College of Education.

The University of Washington has appointed Troy Dannen to serve as its 16th Director of Athletics, UW President Ana Mari Cauce announced today. Dannen most recently served as the Director of Athletics at Tulane University, where during his eight-year tenure the Green Wave had 49 All-Americans and 21 conference champions, and made 41 postseason appearances, including a Cotton Bowl victory over USC earlier this year.

TROY, N.Y. —  Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute will announce the appointment of Kristie Bowers, Ph.D., as its new associate vice president and director of athletics at a press conference at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at the East Campus Athletic Village's main arena.

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama - Garth Glissman, Vice President of Basketball Operations for the National Basketball Association, has been named the Southeastern Conference Associate Commissioner for Men's Basketball, SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey announced Wednesday.

MORROW, Ga. – Clayton State University President, Dr. Georj Lewis announced on Wednesday morning the appointment of Jermaine Rolle to become the Department of Athletics' new Director of Athletics. Rolle will assume Director of Athletics duties effective August 1st. 

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Asha Gibson-Smith, who competed for Jacksonville State and made coaching stops at Jacksonville State, Tennessee State, and Drake as part of a 14-year collegiate coaching career, takes the reins of Austin Peay State University's cross country and track and field programs, Vice President and Director of Athletics Gerald Harrison announced Wednesday.
