The Georgia State Golf Association announces that Matt Williams has been named its new Executive Director. Williams will begin his duties with the Association on November 16, 2014.

Rollins, Inc. (NYSE: ROL) has named John Papailiadis Assistant Regional Manager for Orkin Canada. Papailiadis was previously with NAPA Auto Parts, responsible for operations and sales management.

Alfa Insurance has announced the hiring of Robert McCurley as Vice President of Enterprise Architecture. McCurley's previous experience is with Aflac, Portable Systems Technology, and Georgia Tech.

The University at Albany today named Mark Benson as director of athletics. Benson, 45, becomes the University's second AD since the program entered Division I sports 15 years ago.

Charlie Cobb, director of athletics at Appalachian State University for the past nine years, has been named director of athletics at Georgia State University.

After a national search, the University of Alabama at Birmingham has named G. Allen Bolton Jr., MPH, MBA, as vice president for Financial Affairs and Administration.

David M. Stern, MD, executive dean of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Medicine, has announced the appointment of Teresa Waters, PhD, as the new chair for the Department of Preventive Medicine in the UTHSC College of Medicine.
