John Kelly, Ph.D., was selected as Florida Atlantic University's seventh president by the University's 13-member Board of Trustees on Friday, Jan. 17.

Christy Harris Lemak, Ph.D., has been named chair of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Department of Health Services Administration. Lemak comes to UAB from the University of Michigan where she serves as director of the Griffith Leadership Center in Health Management and Policy.

Bob Diaco, who served on the Notre Dame coaching staff as the defensive coordinator for the past four years and the assistant head coach for the past two, has been named the head football coach at the University of Connecticut - the 30th in school history.

Elon University Director of Athletics Dave Blank introduced Rich Skrosky as the new Phoenix head football coach today, Dec. 12. Skrosky becomes the 21st head football coach in school history and will guide Elon as it moves to the Colonial Athletic Association for the 2014 season.

The WNBA Atlanta Dream today announced that former NBA player and WNBA champion coach Michael Cooper has been named Head Coach. Cooper was a five-time NBA Champion as a player with the Los Angeles Lakers, and led the Los Angeles Sparks to two WNBA titles as the team's head coach.
