Description

The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Development serves as a senior leader within University of Colorado Boulder Advancement, reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Advancement and helping lead the university’s overall fundraising and engagement strategy. The role oversees several key areas of the fundraising enterprise, including parent giving, campuswide development programs, industry and foundation relations, and fundraising support for the university’s twelve research institutes in partnership with the Research and Innovation Office. The AVC also works closely with the University of Colorado System and the CU Foundation to support gift planning efforts and broader advancement priorities.

As University of Colorado Boulder prepares for its first campus-based comprehensive campaign, the AVC will play a central role in campaign implementation, chancellor fundraising initiatives, and cross-campus collaboration. The position requires a highly strategic and relationship-driven leader who can align institutional priorities, donor interests, and philanthropic opportunities to help advance the university’s ambitious fundraising goals.
