Vice President and Director of Athletics

Florida Atlantic University seeks a visionary, collaborative, and entrepreneurial leader to build upon the tremendous momentum of Florida Atlantic Athletics and position the department for sustained success in the evolving landscape of intercollegiate athletics. Reporting directly to the President and serving on the President's Executive Leadership Team, the Vice President and Director of Athletics will provide strategic vision and executive leadership for FAU's NCAA Division I athletics program. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the department, including student-athlete success, competitive excellence, revenue generation, financial stewardship, personnel, compliance, facilities, external relations, and strategic planning. As the university's chief athletics officer, this individual will serve as a trusted advisor to the President and a visible ambassador for Owl Athletics, strengthening the connection between athletics and the broader university while elevating institutional pride, alumni engagement, philanthropic support, and national recognition.
