Hamilton Mason

Hamilton is an Executive Recruiting Coordinator in the Higher Education Practice at Parker Executive Search.

As an Executive Recruiting Coordinator, Hamilton assists with executive searches for senior leaders in higher education, including presidents, provosts, vice presidents, deans, directors, and department chairs. His responsibilities include conducting comprehensive research on clients and target institutions, supporting candidate identification and sourcing efforts, managing search-related data, and helping execute searches through Parker Executive Search's proven search process.

Prior to joining Parker Executive Search, Hamilton gained experience in higher education administration, student engagement, nonprofit development, and leadership. As a Graduate Assistant for Experience UGA at the University of Georgia, he conducted research and analyzed participant feedback to improve program effectiveness while leading teams of student ambassadors and facilitating educational programs for K--12 students. He also served as an Operations Assistant with Downtown Ministries, where he assisted with grant research and proposal development while supporting community engagement initiatives. Additionally, Hamilton spent several summers with the University of Georgia Summer Academy, where he supervised staff and mentored children in a variety of academic enrichment programs.

Hamilton earned bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology from the University of Georgia, as well as a Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia. Throughout his academic career, he was recognized on the President's and Dean's Lists. During his time at the University of Georgia, Hamilton was a member of the University of Georgia Cheer Team, where he served as a Captain and earned his Varsity Letter.

Outside of work, Hamilton enjoys watching sports, especially college athletics, playing pickleball, and spending time with family and friends. Additionally, Hamilton enjoys playing flag football, going for a run, and being active in any way he can. Hamilton and his fiancé have recently relocated to Atlanta with their dog Dansby.
