Wade Jones

Wade Jones is an Executive Recruiting Coordinator, working in the Sports Practice for Parker Executive Search.

Wade is a Colorado native and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management and Finance, with a minor in Sport Management, from the University of Georgia. He also earned a Master of Science in Financial Planning from the University of Georgia.

With a background in collegiate athletics and business, Wade has developed strong skills in relationship building, communication, operations, and organizational management. His experience working in high-performance environments has provided him with valuable insight into the unique challenges and opportunities facing athletic departments and sports organizations.

In his current role, Wade supports all aspects of the executive search process, including candidate research and development, client and candidate communication, search logistics, and project coordination. He works closely with colleagues to help identify and recruit top talent while ensuring a seamless experience for clients and candidates throughout each search.

Prior to joining Parker Executive Search, Wade spent five years with the University of Georgia Men's Basketball program, serving as a Student Manager, Head Manager, and Graduate Assistant, while also serving as a Scout Team member for daily practices and game preparations. In those roles, he worked closely with coaches, student-athletes, administrators, and external stakeholders to support daily operations, recruiting logistics, team travel, player development initiatives, and special events. He also led and mentored a team of student managers while helping coordinate the operational needs of a nationally recognized Division I basketball program.

Additionally, Wade completed a Sports Management certificate program through Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid Universidad Europea in Madrid, Spain, where he gained exposure to international sports operations and learned from leaders across professional and collegiate sports organizations.

In his spare time, Wade enjoys running, watching sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
